Sykcolo

Sykcolo is a Hong Kong–based artist exploring colour, movement and form through physical making, generative systems and observation.

The work often begins with something encountered — a place, a moment, a natural force, a visual structure — and develops from there. Some pieces are worked by hand through layers of colour and texture; others begin with rules and code, allowing unexpected forms to emerge from a defined system.

Across the work, the interest is less in medium than in what an image can become: how movement can be held, how systems can produce surprise, and how the world can compose itself without intervention.
